Family and Friends on Mainland: John and I are fine. Our stone/concrete building is on a very steep and high hill and is not very near the coastline. John will be home sometime soon and we have groceries, and non battery flashlights thanks to Tom and Cathy! I don't have gas... but he does! Kitty has extra food too. We should be fine. Love you :-)

AND fyi. Our visitor parking lot is nearly full so I can take a pretty educated guess that it's from friends that live on the coast hiding out here. I'd take that as a good sign ;-)

Wedding Shoes!

Well... I've officially spent too much money this week, BUT it's less than this weeks paycheck. That's justified, right? Either way they're also for the wedding and absolutely gorgeous. I'm pretty excited. They're so perfect. I may wear them to the Submarine ball to break them in, but then I may not. I don't want to get them dirty! Maybe just a walk around every now and then. Still though. Most beautiful shoes in the world
